Meet Moriah
Moriah Burr, a 22-year-old Rutgers student studying environmental science from Wall, N.J., had been suffering from heavy, painful periods for many years. In late in 2010, Moriah’s symptoms started to get worse so she made an appointment with her obstetrician/gynecologist (OB/GYN), Jocelyn Carlo, M.D.
Meet Constance
Constance Roeder, a 42 year old sales representative of operating room devices, had been suffering with heavy bleeding episodes caused by fibroids. Her physician, Andrew Blechman, M.D. had been monitoring the fibroids for nearly two years when the bleeding got worse.
