Women’s Philanthropic Fund
…the heart of Meridian
The mission of the Women’s Philanthropic Fund is to educate women in Monmouth and Ocean counties about the importance of heart health and to raise funds for heart programs, services and technology at Meridian Health, which includes Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Ocean Medical Center, Riverview Medical Center, and K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital.
Each year the Women’s Philanthropic Fund board selects and focuses on one cardiac program, service, or technology to support at Meridian Health. The Women’s Philanthropic Fund will help Meridian Health provide scholarships for cardiac-related nurses.

For more information on the Women’s Philanthropic Fund and membership, please contact Carrie Boardwick at 732-751-5127.

The event raised nearly $15,000 for the group’s 2009 initiative, providing scholarships for cardiac nurses within the Meridian Health network. Thank you to band sponsors Anita and Joseph Roselle, boardwalk sponsors Tom and Tina Shapiro, and Landmark Carousel sponsors Robert and Mary Foreman.
