James F. Ackerman Federation

The James F. Ackerman Federation is an organization of women dedicated to helping the personnel and patients of Jersey Shore University Medical Center. Funds raised through the Fedaration’s various events, such as the Summer Card Party, Fall Luncheon/Gift Auction, Garden Party, A Day at the Races, and Yesterday’s Best Thrift Shop, are used to support programs and services within the medical center. Examples of the Federation’s support include: No-cost prescriptions, scholarships, pediatrics, hospice, Breast Center, and the Jane H. Booker Family Health Center.

In 2006, the James F. Ackerman Federation donated more than $85,000 to the programs and services at Jersey Shore. For more information about the James F. Ackerman Federation and its membership, please contact the Federation Office at 732-776-4305.
