Maternity Outpatient Observation Area

In addition to the many services provided by Jersey Shore University Medical Center's Women's Services, we offer expecting mothers a maternity outpatient observation area. This 4-bed area allows for patients who require monitoring to be observed by health care professionals and is open 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.

The area is designed to provide care for antepartum patients and services available include: continuous, central fetal monitoring, labor checks, non-stress testing, blood work, and other tests prescribed by your physician. Our multi-disciplinary team of professionals can identify problems with your pregnancy and help to protect the health of you and your baby.
