Heart Surgery

Our cardiac surgery program is one of the most respected in New Jersey. With our experienced surgeons, we’ve set the pace. Jersey Shore is the only hospital in Monmouth and Ocean counties licensed to perform open heart surgery. We perform more than 850 heart surgeries a year, and offer a level of care and outcomes that is well known across the region. We have consistently achieved outcomes and volumes that are among the highest in the tri-state area as highlighted in the NJ-statewide report card, Money Magazine and The New York Times. Surgical services include:

  • Open Heart Surgery
  • Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG) Surgery
  • Off-Pump Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting
  • Aortic Valve Replacement
  • Mitral Valve Replacement
  • Minimally Invasie Heart Valve Replacement and Repair
  • Endoscopic Vein Harvesting
  • MAZE Procedure
