The outpatient Oncology unit inspires hope and courage in patients and their families on a daily basis. Treatment is delivered in a compassionate, innovative, and progressive manner, and provides the best cancer care close to home. Each patient is treated by a multidisciplinary team of experts with the latest offerings in intra-peritoneal chemotherapy, targeted therapy, vaccines, and radiation. Jersey Shore promotes excellence in nursing by supporting educational efforts, and every registered nurse is nationally certified through the Oncology Nursing Society. All are part of the nationally recognized Magnet award winning staff at Jersey Shore.
