JERSEY SHORE UNIVERSITY MEDICAL CENTER’S JANE H. BOOKER DIALYSIS CENTER TO HOST OPEN HOUSE

Center to offer lectures and tours to the community

Neptune, NJ - Neptune, NJ –The Jersey Shore University Medical Center Jane H. Booker Dialysis Center will open its doors to the community on Tuesday, July 29th, from 3 to 6 p.m. for an open house that includes tours, lectures, educational information, as well as refreshments. The Dialysis Center is located at 2241 Route 33 at Fortunato Place in Neptune.

At 3:30 p.m., Jersey Shore University Medical Center dieticians Jane Reinertsen, RD, CDE, and Christine Monroe, RD, CNSD, will talk about summer eating for dialysis patients.

At 4:30 p.m., Joseph Albanese, D.O., Medical Director of the Jane H. Booker Dialysis Center, will discuss Quality Indicators for Dialysis Patients. His lecture will emphasize the range of care available for dialysis patients at the center.

The Dialysis Center, which opened its new facility this year, is located just one mile from the Jersey Shore campus. This state-of-the-art center is situated to provide convenient outpatient dialysis services. The center provides several amenities, as well as, modern systems to provide an improved overall treatment experience.

Some mentionable features include the latest water treatment system with central delivery system for dialysis solutions, allowing for fewer delays during treatment. Each station is equipped with a television and cable, as well as, free wireless internet access. In addition, the new center has more parking spaces complete with increased lighting for evening treatments.

The community, patients, care givers, and physicians are all welcome to attend this educational open house.
