Division of Gynecologic Oncology

Our gynecologic oncologists, Drs. William J. Mann, Henry E. Sprance and Nicholas Taylor perform over 500 operative cases each year and participate in over 4,000 outpatient visits. However, the care does not end with the surgical intervention. These physicians provide complete care including chemotherapy, nutritional support, pain management, and the coordination of radiation therapy, as well as, close follow-up once therapy is complete. This complete approach to the treatment of gynecologic malignancies is unique in Monmouth and Ocean counties. They are actively engaged in GOG protocols and research on the treatment of gynecologic cancers. Joining them is nurse practitioner Michelle Camacho, NP,APN-C

Dr. Sprance is the medical director of the Perricone Center. A generous gift by Philip and Marilyn Perricone of Wall established this highly advanced center of excellence located within Jersey Shore's main campus and an outpatient center in Neptune. The Perricone Center brings together one of the largest teams of gynecologic oncology specialists in New Jersey with a wide range of advanced services and support programs.

With the support of a highly skilled and dedicated Magnet Award-winning nursing staff , our patients receive state-of-the-art therapies. These include cutting edge protocols from the Gynecologic Oncology Group, as well as other innovative protocols. Therapies may be individualized should the need arise.

New patients are generally seen within a week of referral. Appointments may be obtained by calling 732-897-7944. Our physicians are available for consultations at any of Meridian Health's partner hospitals.
