Dental Resident Schedule
- Vacation: 20 Days (4 weeks) Vacation not allowed in June, July and August, unless approved By the Program Director (all dates must be approved in writing by Program Director)
- Personal Days: 2
- Holidays: 6
- Sick Days: 8 (as approved by the program director)
- Full Day Continuing Dental Education Seminars: 9 days (Residents are required to help the Program Director with arrangements.)
- Hours residents are in O.R. with attendings
- Pediatric Rotation: 16 hours*
- Medicine Rotation: 36 hours*
- Anesthesiology Rotation: 70 hours*
- Emergency Room Rotation: 95 hours- Every fourth Friday night between the hours of 6:00 and 11:00 P.M. and every fourth Saturday afternoon between the hours of 1:00 P.M. and 5:00 P.M. during the months of July, August, September, and October. Then, one Friday night per month between the hours of 6:00 P.M. and 11:00 P.M. during the months of November through June*** ER Attending must initial monthly ER Stat sheets.
