It takes the generosity of the entire community - families, friends, employees, physicians, and local businesses - to provide the philanthropic support necessary to advance and enhance Jersey Shore University Medical Center. We are currently seeking funding for the following items:

Artwork for Corridors and Patient Rooms

Total Cost - $4,910. Gifts of any size are welcome.

Barrier Free Table and Stool

Total Cost - $5,043. Gifts of any size are welcome.
To be used in the Family Health Center, the barrier free table goes into a low position and can accommodate patients with disabilities who are unable to transfer up to a high table for an exam.

Exam Tables

Total Cost - $7,000. Gifts of any size are welcome.
The Radiation Therapy Department needs new exam tables. The new exam tables will greatly benefit the patients undergoing radiation therapy.

Arm Ergometers

Total Cost - $7,100. Gifts of any size are welcome.
An arm ergometer is a piece of equipment for fitness and endurance that will assist the Cardiac Rehabilitation Department with rehabilitation and development for patients, including patients with physical disabilities.

Dental Laser

Total Cost - $8,000. Gifts of any size are welcome.
A dental laser is used for patients needing procedures in the soft tissue of their mouth. This laser will help facilitate a broader range of services while treating patients more quickly and comfortably.

Mediastinoscope Video Kit

Total Cost - $10,000. Gifts of any size are welcome.
This technology uses a video system to provide a magnified view of a lymph node during surgery. The operating room would use this technology during minimally invasive procedures to remove or resect lymph nodes.

Laboratory Freezer

Total Cost - $10,500. Gifts of any size are welcome.
A laboratory freezer is used to preserve specimens. It includes specific temperature gradients and internal compartments. This freezer will complement the recent state-of-the-art renovation of Jersey Shore University Medical Center Laboratory Services.

Motorized Stretcher

Total Cost - $11,500. Gifts of any size are welcome.
A motorized stretcher greatly reduce the physical strain on clinicians without sacrificing patient care and comfort.
