Our Wish List
Make a direct impact in the lives of our patients today.
It takes the generosity of the entire community to provide the philanthropic support necessary to advance and enhance Jersey Shore University Medical Center. Some of our 2013 fundraising priorities are:
The new Cardiac Thoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU) is now being constructed with 12 beds and two nurse’s stations. It is set to be completed by the spring of 2014.
Planning continues for the new Oncology Inpatient Unit to be constructed in the shell space on the 4th floor of the Northwest Pavilion. Patients care will be supported by 36 private rooms and three nurse’s stations in three neighborhoods.
Expansion of K. Hovnanian Children's Hospital
When completed, our enhanced Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) will add four intensive care beds increasing the total PICU capacity to 10 beds, along with a second nursing station for patient monitoring, and a family conference center. With more than 100 Pediatric Specialists, we now have more children than ever coming to our hospital for care and treatment. To meet this need, recent expansion brought the children’s hospital to 44 beds to accommodate our pediatric patients and their families.

Thanks to the Kaleidoscope for Hope Foundation, one of Jersey Shore's wish list items has been purchased and it already is benefiting patients!
