About Our Gynecologic Surgery Program
At Jersey Shore, robotic-assisted surgery is revolutionizing the way physicians operate on patients with gynecologic conditions. By combining robotics and state-of-the-art computer technology, it enables surgeons to operate with greater dexterity and control than is possible with traditional surgical approaches.
In addition to a quicker recovery time, other potential benefits for patients include less blood loss, reduced postoperative pain, and a reduced risk for infection.
Robotic-assisted surgery is being used at Jersey Shore to treat a number of gynecologic conditions, including:
