3rd Annual Jersey Shore University Medical Center 5k Slated for September 16, 2012

This Year's Race Offers $3,000 in Prize Money!

Jersey Shore University Medical Center will be hosting its 3rd Annual 5k Run/Walk & Community Day on Sunday, September 16, 2012 at 10:00 a.m.. There will be a timed 5k run through Neptune, free kids races, children's health fair, kids activities including jumpies and the trackless train, music, food free screenings, and a lot more.

Bring your family, friends, neighbors, and colleagues for the best post-race part at the Shore! We hope you will join us for a fun-filled day supporting Jersey Shore University Medical Center and K. Hovnanian Children's Hospital.

At this year's 5k run/walk there is $3,000 in prize money awarded to the top three overall male & female finishers and top three male & female finishers in the following age groups: 24-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and over. (Click here for the 2012 Race Course).

8:30 a.m.: 5k Run/Walk Registration Opens
10:00 a.m.: 5k Run/Walk
11:00 a.m.: Kids Races
11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.: 5k Race Awards, Children's Health Fair, Kids Activities, Free Screenings, Food, and a lot more!
