ABG (Arterial Blood Gas)
An ABG test measures the levels of oxygen and carbon dioxide in the blood to evaluate how well your lungs are working.

Arthrogram
An arthrogram uses X-rays to obtain a series of pictures of your joint after a contrast material (like a dye) is injected into the joint.

A barium swallow is a test to view your upper gastrointestinal (GI) tract, including the back of the mouth and throat and the esophagus.

Bloodwork tests your blood to see how your organs are working, how certain treatments are working, or whether you have or are at risk for certain health problems.

No appointment is need for bloodwork. Our hours are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Saturday from 7 a.m. to noon.

A bone density scan or DEXA measures how much calcium and other minerals are in your bones.

Breast Ultrasound or Biopsy
A breast ultrasound uses sound waves to create images of your breast tissue. A breast biopsy removes a small sample of breast tissue.

Bronchoscopy
A bronchoscopy uses a specialized instrument to view the airways of your lungs.
Making an appointment
If your primary care physician has recommended a bronchoscopy, you must first make an appointment with a pulmonologist. If you need a pulmonologist, please visit our online directory or call our physician referral line at 1-800-DOCTORS.
Once youve seen your pulmonologist, that office will make your appointment for you. Our pre-registration office will then call you to obtain additional details needed for your appointment.

Colonoscopy
A colonoscopy is a test that examines the inside of your large intestine, which includes your colon and rectum.
Making an appointment

A CT scan uses X-rays to make detailed pictures of structures inside your body. A CT scan with hydration also means youll have an IV.

A trans-esophageal echocardiogram is a test that uses a special probe in your throat to emit sound waves that create high-quality moving pictures of your heart and its blood vessels.
Making an appointment
If your primary care physician has recommended a trans-esophageal echocardiogram, you must first make an appointment with a cardiologist. If you need a cardiologist, please visit our online directory or call our physician referral line at 1-800-DOCTORS.
Once youve seen your cardiologist, that office will make your appointment for you. Our pre-registration office will then call you to obtain additional details needed for your appointment.

An upper endoscopy uses a specialized instrument to view inside your upper gastrointestinal tract, which includes your esophagus, stomach and duodenum (the first part of your small intestine).
