Quality Counts

Accountability in Action

We feel that access to information about your local hospital's quality is critical. The more information you have about a hospital's performance, the more informed you will be when making health care decisions.

In the state's most recent Hospital Performance Report, Jersey Shore University Medical Center was ranked as one of the top three hospitals overall in Monmouth County. We were also rated among the top 10% in the state and the best in the county for the treatment of heart attack. Jersey Shore also rated among the top 10% in the state for the prevention of surgical infection.
